1. Casual/ weekend hire: $750 Bond and $70 per hour

2. Sound Equipment: $250 bond

3. Microphone hire - $25 per hour

4. Main Hall Capacity: 250 people

5. Currong Rooms Capacity: 30 people per room. Rooms are joining and can be opened to accommodate 60 people. (Hiring both rooms) See Function Rooms

Do you have air-conditioning?

No, we do not have air-conditioning in the main hall or in the currong rooms. We do have several large industrial fans along the side wall in the main hall.

Do we have a back-up generator if there is a black out?

No, we do not have any back-up generators. If we are expecting storms, I suggest you bring along a couple of back-up torches.

Do you have tables and chairs?

Yes. We have chairs and tables included in the hire.  Tables measure 180 x 75 cm. We do not have table cloths or chair covers. We have 45 tables and 240 chairs.

Do you have crockery or cutlery?

No. We do not have crockery or cutlery. Hirers must provide their own eating utensils.

What are the shape of the tables?

The tables are white rectangle trestle tables.

Is there a sound system?

Yes. There is a sound system which comes with the hire, though there is a $200 bond (extra) for the use of the microphone which is refundable.

Do you have a projector?

No. We do not have a projector. You are welcome to bring a projector, you will also need to bring a screen.

Do you have a projector screen?

No. We do not have a projector screen.

Are we able to have a jumping castle inside the hall?

No, the hall or veranda area is not suitable for jumping castles.

Can we come into the hall earlier to set-up and decorate?

No. You must include set-up time in your hire. If you need to set up the night before, you will also need to hire the hall for this time as well.

Do you have wifi?

No. We do not have wifi.

Can we decorate the Hall?

Yes, you are welcome to decorate the hall, however:

1. No nails are permitted for hanging decorations

2. No string or rope tied to or around the fans

3. All tape, tacks or blue-tac must be removed after the event

4. No tape allowed on the hall floor.

Is alcohol allowed on the premises?

Yes however you must abide by the current Qld Government Liquor Act at all times.

Does our hire cover insurance?

No. It is the hirer’s responsibility to purchase $20M Public Liability Insurance to cover this event/hire. This can be done as a “one off” event insurance through most insurance brokers.

Are there BBQ facilities?

Yes, there is a BBQ area adjoining hall verandah. If required, please advise and the area can be unlocked and made available for your use.
