ABOUT
Our Roots
The Greenbank Community Centre was opened on 14th December 1985, when Greenbank was a small acreage community tucked away from the everyday city hustle and bustle. Greenbank at that time was very similar to a small country town, where the people who lived there new each other well and were very much involved in community.
The Greenbank Community Centre is owned by Logan City Council but maintained and managed by a Committee made up of local volunteers. These local residents are proud of the growth the centre has maintained over the years and take pride in the presentation of the hall. The committee strive to continue upgrading the Centre to meet the needs of the ever growing community.
The Centre offers a venue for locals to hold dances, engagement parties, wedding receptions etc. It also provides weekly classes of Fitness and Dance, Yoga, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Playgroup etc.
The Management Committee are extremely proud of the Centre and pride itself in offering an extremely clean and well maintained venue for the local community.
